Morris Island Light

One of my favorite places on Earth – Charleston, SC.

This is the view of the Morris Island Light, from Folly Island at mid-tide. High tide isolates the light completely and low tide gives you a walkway right to the doorway. This used to be on a 1,300 foot island, but unlike Hatteras which got moved to avoid the erosion, Morris Island lost its island.
